Where is the fire?

Lots of firemen (woman) but no fire. What's up with that.

What a great game. How often do we get to run around in 90 degree weather with fire fighter junk on. Yeah Craig for a good Summer Survivor game.

Dead Prez have taken the lead of Summer Survivor after bring up the rear for many weeks. Will they maintain control of first place and take home the ultimate Survivor reward? Time will tell. Who do you think will take the Ultimate Reward?

A Plan

What's up?

It is official we are now in DEEP summer. Well I am not sure you can use deep as an adjective for summers in the Iron Range but I gave it a try. What I mean is we are in the middle of summer. Only two more weeks and Summer Camp starts! I wanted to remind you about what we talked about last Wednesday. Here is a little of what I read for my Devos this morning.

Heb 8:8-13

Heads up! The days are coming
when I'll set up a new plan
for dealing with Israel and Judah.
9 I'll throw out the old plan
I set up with their ancestors
when I led them by the hand out of Egypt.
They didn't keep their part of the bargain,
so I looked away and let it go.
10 This new plan I'm making with Israel
isn't going to be written on paper,
isn't going to be chiseled in stone;
This time I'm writing out the plan in them,
carving it on the lining of their hearts.
I'll be their God,
they'll be my people.
11 They won't go to school to learn about me,
or buy a book called God in Five Easy Lessons.
They'll all get to know me firsthand,
the little and the big, the small and the great.
12 They'll get to know me by being kindly forgiven,
with the slate of their sins forever wiped clean.

13 By coming up with a new plan, a new covenant between God and his people, God put the old plan on the shelf. And there it stays, gathering dust.

God has a PLAN. It was to send his Son to conquer the law of sin that is death. He plan gives me the ability to go straight to Jesus for friendship and forgiveness of sins. As Emeral Laguassi would say "BAM!" I guess God's PLAN definitely kicked it up a notch.

What is you PLAN for spiritual success. I have a plan for each day. What is your plan to bring you closer in your relationship with Jesus. If you don't have a plan you probably won't succeed.
