Fusion Cells Recap

Two weeks of Fusion Cells is down and 5 more to go. This Sunday there is NO Fusion Cells. You are free to do whatever you desire. If you haven't yet gone to a cell group I wanted to encourage you to attend. See the links to the right for more information.

Last week at Fusion Cells you were discussing Matthew 22:34-40

When the Pharisees heard how he had bested the Sadducees, they gathered their forces for an assault. 35 One of their religion scholars spoke for them, posing a question they hoped would show him up: 36 "Teacher, which command in God's Law is the most important?"
37 Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.' 38 This is the most important, the first on any list. 39 But there is a second to set alongside it: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.' 40 These two commands are pegs; everything in God's Law and the Prophets hangs from them."

Jesus gives us two keys to being a Christian. Love God & Love Others. To love God we must deny our sinful desires and seek Him and His desires. To Love others we must receive God's love into our life. Once we are filled with God's love we should be overflowing with what is in our hearts.

How are you going to love God this weekend? How are you going to love others this weekend? By love I don't mean passionate lust that the world considers love. I mean the agape love that comes from God? Remember that we read the Bible because we want to be more like Jesus. We must act upon what we read or there is no benefit for us or others.

Introducing FLASH

A new addition has been added to The Rev Blog. The Rev 411 at the top of the side bar. I will be adding information about who we are @ The Rev. Make sure to check each week to see what has been added to The Rev 411.

Everything in the 411 is flashed based which may take those of you with dial up a little while to download and run. It takes my computer at home 512k about 8 seconds. I would like to know how long it takes to load. Drop me a comment and let me know your download time and what kind of connection you have thanks.

2 New Links

Good Morning,

It is Saturday morning and most of you Rev-ites are sleeping. While you slumber in your beds your dedicated blog pastor has added two new links for you to check out. The first link, iCamp Sermons, you can now download all the sermons from icamp. This is a great resource for your mom or dad. They now can hear what you experienced at summer camp.

The Second link, MCY05 Links, has lots of three areas that you might want to check out. The first is Herb Cooper (myc speaker), second, Jon Reini (worship leader), and Gritts (hip hop band playing at the late night concert. Enjoy!

Have a great Labor Day weekend.
